RP Qualifying & RP

OPCC offers psychodynamically oriented clinical supervision for therapists at all stages of professional development. Whether you are an RP (Qualifying) working toward independent registration, a newly registered therapist seeking to deepen your clinical insight, or an experienced practitioner looking for reflective consultation, we welcome you to connect with our supervision network. Our approach supports thoughtful, relational practice rooted in depth-oriented understanding of the therapeutic process.

Who We Support

We offer clinical supervision to:

RP (Qualifying) registrants completing their independent practice hours
Registered Psychotherapists (RP) seeking ongoing support and development
Therapists from other disciplines (e.g., social workers, counselling therapists) seeking psychodynamic-informed consultation
Graduates of OPCC and other psychotherapy training programs

Open Houses and Complimentary Lectures

Supervision at OPCC

Supervision is provided by OPCC Faculty and Approved Clinical Supervisors who are:

CRPO-recognized clinical supervisors
Psychodynamically trained and relational in orientation
Skilled in fostering reflection, insight, accountability, and clinical growth
Committed to equity, trauma-informed care, and professional ethics

We support therapists in exploring the emotional dynamics of therapy, understanding countertransference, working through stuck points, and building confidence in clinical decision-making.

Supervision Formats Offered

We offer:

Individual/Dyad Supervision – tailored, in-depth support for case consultation and clinical growth
Group Supervision – relational, reflective spaces to learn with and from peers (groups of 4–8)

Supervision is available virtually and occasionally in person, depending on supervisor location.
